gah! i feel this way everyday. i have never felt so slow, stupid, ill-equipped, humbled, exhausted, over-whelmed or retarded as i have since i started grad school. is this part of the training? am i supposed to constantly feel bad about myself and uncertain about my future?

Maybe I'm an outlier, but I'm a male phd student who fears they'll find me out for the imposter I really am. I'm on track to defend my thesis in June, and I already have postdoc job offers... yet, on a daily basis, I fear that I'll have that tragic slip and expose my inadequacy and all will be lost.
